Always be the Shark by Stevie Dawn Carter PHD

I
n recent times I have definitely come to appreciate self help books more however I would really say this is more of a book of self discovery. In it our author Stevie shares many deep and personal experiences which helped her realise she had to stop waiting for the girl she used to be to come back and forge forward to become the woman she is now.

Along with these experiences she shares plans and strategies that you yourself can follow to meet your goals and stop dwelling on the past. The deeply personal tone of the book mixed with these action plans gives the impression that Stevie really does care about the reader and wants to help you "be the Shark".

Quite often this type of goal getting attitude is tied in with corporate dreams or your own business objectives but I believe the strategies Stevie outlines could be applied just as easily to almost any lifestyle and your own development goals which is something quite unique in the self help world, that there is actually something in this book for everyone.

With that being said this book may be especially poignant for anyone going through a major life transition or struggling with their dreams of starting your own business. Sometimes reading just one person's success story is the push you need!
