The Woman Across The Street From The Girl In The Window Review

I saw some chatter about this series online and actually thought it was a comedy going in so it definitely wasn't what I was expecting and I can confirm you definitely don't have to have read or watched The Girl in The Window to enjoy it.

First shout out goes to Kristen Bell, I honestly haven't seen her in anything that I haven't liked. I don't know if she just picks good projects or if it's her that makes them good. Second shout-out goes to the wine glass he character Anna is able to pour a whole bottle of wine into without spilling.

Anna lives alone following the death of her daughter and her subsequent divorce and she becomes very interested when a handsome new neighbour moves in across the street.

As you can tell from the title and pretty much anywhere online Anna believes she witnesses the murder of the new neighbours girlfriend or was it something she imagined after mixing her medication and alcohol?

There are so many brilliant aspects to this show and I did binge it all in an entire night because the twists just kept coming. Some bits of it are nonsensical and some bits are just unexpected but that just adds to the dramatic suspenseful mood of the show.

So much happens over so few episodes you are literally hooked and need to know what happens next. Looking a bit deeper I liked Anna's character growth throughout as well as her dedication to making sure justice is served, and societies treatment of Anna also highlights issues those suffering from trauma and mental illness could potentially suffer without the right care and support systems.

I genuinely rate this 10 out of 10 just for the sheer watchability (is that a word?) And bonkers moments in this show. If you have a spare couple of hours you need to watch it, even if it's just so you can understand all the memes floating around online.
