I've been enjoying self development books lately and so thought I'd give this a go. Braun is a sought after speaker, CEO of the women's leadership firm Something Major and through her humorous and down to earth approach this book tackles so many aspects that can help improve your career no matter what field you're in.
Some of my favourite points made within the book were "Feedback tells us more about the giver than the receiver" and I feel another quote that sums up the overall feel of this book really well is "Putting ourselves out there and knowing that we can move beyond rejection is worth celebrating. So where can you celebrate?"
This optimistic tone carries throughout, while the author doesn't shy from the work still needing to be done.
A great, motivating read.
